It is said that a dreamcatcher provides protection when placed over a crib or bed, being a symbol of unity, hope and healing.

A net or web - A small hole left in the middle allows good dreams to pass through while the web catches the bad dreams, leaving them to burn in the sun.

Woven through a hoop - circle or teardrop shaped, representing the circle of life.
